8-20-03 @ 12:37 AM EST Where's that new comic I promised? Well its drawn, and scanned, but INACCESSIBLE. I don't have my own scanner, and I encountered problems getting it from the scanner in the computing lab to my computer for uploading. Hence, no comic just yet. In the meantime, I just wanted to post and say that I haven't forgotten about the website, or updating. Expect the comic up sometime on the 20th. 8-08-03 @ 4:55 AM EST Holy moly! The holiest of holy molies! FOr the longest time I have spoken of getting my site up to date, and fully automated. Well, obviously enough, I have! It isn't the most beautiful thing in the world, but the true beauty is in the comics. I'll work on buttons, links, and that sort of stuff later. For now, enjoy the GROWING ARCHIVE at your disposal! I hope you enjoy the comics, and would like to say that the comics will now officially start coming in on a regular schedule. What is that schedule? Check back in a little over a week and find out. By then I'll be set up in my new dorm room and able to give a better prediction. ALSO, I will be finishing up the 'date' and 'dean' story lines. Currently, the archive is a little out of order, I'll work on that. In case you're curious, the old website was http://www.eagle1.american.edu/~rn0588a/ So I'm going to Otakon in a few hours, I'll try and post about it soon. 2-26-03 @ 11:42 PM EST Okay, it has been a very busy week, so no news on when the archive is going to be up. In the meantime, I put up the new comic you see above. By the way, this comic goes out to Mary Crom, for living the laundry disaster. If anyone has seen Mary's missing unmentionables, please let me know! As for other news, I'm working on the link page, since it'll be easier to get online than the archive. When will all this stuff be up? Well, there's a Pietasters show in Philly this weekend, and I'm making an apprearance. I love these guys, and they are playing with the infamous Slackers! Sweet as all this is, I won't be able to work on the page while I'm gone. Lets see how everything goes in the meantime. Thanks for reading this, and feel free to write me and tell me what you think. Well, thats all for now! Keep tuning in! 2-19-03 @ 9:13 PM EST Okay, STILL working on the archive problem. Notice I still updated the new comic. Speaking of links, I met some cool guys at Katsucon. Check out their website at: http://www.scatterplot.net 2-17-03 @ 4:52 PM EST Thank goodness for snow days! Thanks to my very own Rachie, I finally found a stable place for this website! Until Keenspace ever gets up and running, the funny will be found here! I'm going to work on getting a bunch of comics up here in the next few days, but let this update represent the start of a long line of updates from here on in. KATSUCON UPDATE: So I went to Katsucon this past weekend, and had bunches of fun. I went to a panel by Megatokyo's own Fred Gallagher on how he draws his comic. Wow. Insightful as it was, I now think he knows less about artwork than I had previously considered. Still, a great writer and artist. I'll get all the archive stuff worked out soon. I'm not sure what's gonna happen in the meantime, but be sure to check back here soon enough. Thanks for reading! 2-7-03 @ 4:47 PM EST Wow. It has been a long time. The site has been consistently down more than it has been up, and I apologize. It is partly Keenspace's fault, but I haven't done much to fix it. Sorry guys. However, I have been drawing comics, and have about 30 stored up for the site, all ready to go. So if you're seeing this, there should be plenty to see on the site. I'm going to try and go back and add in comics to the archive directly, so if it works there should be about 20 comics to see. It IS a start. In other news, I got interviewed by a guy at my school who says he works for ucomics.com or something. The conversation in its stupid entirety is posted here. Do you think it's real? I'm not sure. Email me and let me know. 12-7-02 @ 5:07 PM EST Ok, the site has been down more than it has been up. This is not good. If you're seeing this, it means I'm working on it, and its on its way. So, keep coming back PLEASE! I hope that I will be able to take all the comics I have and put them online soon, I have about 10 to upload that I KNOW you'll like.
Big thanks to Jesse Miksic, Bridget Dooley, Mary and her scanner, and Rachel Mooney for helping me get this site up and running, I hope you like it. email: rossnover@hotmail.com |
